The EPS company offers custom-made solutions to specific R&D tasks. We have high level of expertise and experience in the field of abiotic and bio-based environmental remediation methods. We focus on the examination of biological solution suitability for the remedy of specific environmental issues (waste water treatment, system bioaugmentation, microbial colony profiling, real sample and microcosm preparation for targeted molecular biology studies, etc.)
Among others, the EPS laboratory operates the BIOLOG system capable of microbial metabolic
profiling and allowing the interpretation of their probable taxonomic position within the phylogenetic system (ideally the genus and species level).
Our services also include techniques of advanced optical and fluorescence microscopy. Using the principles of FISH (fluorescent in-situ hybridization) and DAPI (4',6-diamidino-2-phenylindole) staining allows for the yeast and bacterial physiological condition assessment. The graphic outcome of these techniques is subsequently processed by the image analysis and published in synoptic way.
