In July 2011, the EPS, s.r.o. company launched the operation of a recycling center. The facility is situated within the grounds of EPS biogas plant - Nový dvůr among the Kunovice and Hluk municipalities. The waste is imported to this facility by the suppliers' own transportation means, or by contracted transporter. The accepted wastes are separated by type, weighed, and temporarily stored at fortified concrete slots. Based on the amount of wastes accepted into the facility, it is possible to use for construction refuse reczcling also the surfaces intended for composting or phytomass storage. And vice versa, the spaces for construction waste recycling may be used for composting or phytomass storage, instead.
Once accepted, the wastes are separated according to type and kept apart by distance to prevent any possible mixing and to allow vehicular manipulation. When needed, inert construction wastes may be crushed and further sorted at this space. These materials are than passed onto other persons certified for their further use or disposal.
The facility has the immediate capacity of 3000 tonnes and the annual capacity of 20 000 tonnes.
